### Which archive formats can LinaZip open?

Open and extract ZIP and ZIP-based JAR, WAR, EPUB and APK files, plus 7z, RAR/RAR5, TAR, GZ, XZ, BZ2, ISO and CAB. Supported ALZ and EGG archives can also be browsed and extracted.

### Are the Mac and Windows features identical?

Core creation, extraction and multipart handling are shared. Finder Services are available on Mac, while in-archive editing, previews, ZIP recovery and expanded file tools are available on Windows.

### Are my files uploaded?

No. File contents and paths are not sent to developer servers, and core archive features work without an account or internet connection.

### Can LinaZip create RAR archives?
