    Choose one app and one platform

    Each person may request one app on one platform per calendar month, based on Korea Standard Time.

  2. 02

    Prepare proof of eligibility

    Prepare a photo of a student card, enrollment certificate, exam ticket, registration receipt or course record, or an official scan. Screenshots are not accepted.

  3. 03

    Attach proof to the email

    Review the prefilled application, attach your proof and send it. Codes are issued in the order verification is completed.

Screenshots are not accepted. Photograph physical proof beside a handwritten note; an official scan from the issuing institution may be attached as-is. If proof exists only on screen, display it on another device and photograph it beside the note.

Document type, institution or exam name, current status, validity date and only the minimum name information needed to match the applicant.

ALWAYS COVER

Portrait, date of birth, address, phone number, student or candidate number, government ID number, QR codes and barcodes. Cover them before taking the photo.

01Who can apply?+

Current primary, secondary, high-school and university students, as well as people preparing for entrance, civil-service or professional exams, may apply. A parent or legal guardian must apply for anyone under 14.

02Which apps are eligible?+

Eligible apps are paid CommonSource apps sold through the relevant store that do not incur an external billable LLM API cost with each use. Check the app index on this page for currently supported platforms.

03Can I request several apps each month?+

No. Each person may receive one code for one app on one platform per calendar month, based on Korea Standard Time. Duplicate applications using another email may also be declined.

04Is a code guaranteed after I apply?+

No. Codes are sent in the order verification is completed, within store limits and the quantity CommonSource allocates each month. Applications may close early.

05When is my proof deleted?+

Proof is deleted within 30 days after verification and code delivery. A minimal issuance record is kept for one year to prevent duplicate applications.
